About Acts 2 Church

Thank you for taking the time to find out more about Acts 2 Church and our community. Acts 2 Church was established in Virginia Beach, VA in 1995. We hope that after you look through our website and attend a worship service, you will consider becoming a more active part of our growing community of faith.

Led by Pastor Rob Stevenson, Acts 2 Church offers many ministries for people of all ages and walks of life who are looking to strengthen their relationship with Christ.

Mission Statement

Building excellence in life after life is our call. God has a life of excellence for us now, as well as a wonderful life after life. We are also desiring to introduce others to our Jesus one life at a time. Relationships are special in this church. Superficial and shallow is not what the Lord desires.

We are a Charismatic Southern Baptist Church

Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has grown to over 16 million members who worship in more than 42,000 churches in the United States. Southern Baptists sponsor about 5,000 home missionaries serving the United States, Canada, Guam and the Caribbean, as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153 nations of the world.

Working through 1,200 local associations and 41 state conventions and fellowships, Southern Baptists share a common bond of basic Biblical beliefs and a commitment to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the entire world.

You become a Southern Baptist by uniting with a Southern Baptist church, one in friendly cooperation with the general Southern Baptist enterprise of reaching the world for Christ. Typically church membership is a matter of accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord and experiencing believer's baptism by immersion.
