Our Staff Members

The staff at Acts 2 Church has spent many years commited to Christian service. Our staff enjoys serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand. Here are a few of Acts 2 Church's staff members, starting with Rob Stevenson:

Senior pastor just tries to keep his hand in everything, but never really gets a handle on it. He can provide some advice, and provide some support, but this church runs on good servers and great leaders.

"Pastor since 1995, Rob is a retired Navy Lieutenant Commander, a medical entomologist, and a middle school science teacher, as well as a pastor. He has been married to Beverly, his 6th grade sweetheart, since August, 1970. They have four sons, four awesome daughters-in-law, and five grand-children."

Robert and Juliette Alston  (Pastoral Counseling Pastors)  Send E-mail to Robert and Juliette Alston
Robert and Juliette pastor an "inner healing" prayer counseling ministry providing Holy Spirit directed opportunities for individuals to readily identify negative patterns of response in their life, experience freedom from practiced and destructive ways of thinking, and come to the full realization of who they were created to be in Christ.

Currently working on his J.D. from Regent University School of Law and working full-time at Regent. Mark, Rebecca, and sons Liam and Luke reside in Virginia Beach, VA. Mark also enjoys playing drums for Sunday services.

Rebecca works part-time for the church performing secretarial duties. She is a great point of contact if you have any inquiries about anything relating to the church. Rebecca is a full-time mom and enjoys riding and training horses in her free time as well as singing and playing piano and flute.

Mike works as a digital artist at CBN. Outside of work he loves creating (art and stuff), backpacking, conversations, movies, reading, and long drives down deserted roads to good music. He and Sarah were recently married! CONGRATULATIONS! If you want to make art for our Creator and the Church on Sunday morning, contact Mike.

Grant and Mary have led Amplified for some time and have seen it multiply once. They have a little one, Melanie. Grant works at Tidewater Community College as a multi-media specialist, running one of the theaters.



Grant and Mary are both musically talented. Mary leads praise and worship sometimes. Grant plays bass and sings.

Bill and Caitlin, and their little one, Grace, are a light to the youth in many ways. Bill also works at Old Dominion University and has lots of contacts there with the younger generation. They have done wonderfully with the youth here at Acts 2 Church.

Dennis and Sharon hold down the A29 youth. These are the middle school students. They do an excellent job at keeping them motivated.
